poem: old mate Harry

we spend words
we buy words

the heart knows
what is right and wrong

the bells ring
in the world

the market
of words begin

keep the price down
me old mate Harry

emotions are the
price of life

Publications by Moeze Lalji for charity

poem: puppy

flowers spread
out their wings

wanting to fly
playing in the sands

of the sunshine
like a little puppy

full of bounce
and beans

rolling those
new petals and paws

as waves of
the blue ocean

run with
the white sands

barking a
summer flute

poem: on my roof

the coins
ring their bells

every soul
wakes up

to make
the soup of the day

slot me a penny
says the bus
says the gas
says the electric
says the car

the bones
run and smile

poem: a small bird in faith

birds fly
looking at you and me

no vocabulary
they print

over our heads
seeing

one brotherhood
of man

the way
God would

like it to be
man flying warm feelings

Poem: a small picture of faith

i pray for you
that God

grants all your wishes
grants what is good for you

may he give us
the wishes of peace

in every home everyday

may he give us
the understanding

so that every quarrel
leaves every home

so that every quarrel
leaves every country

ameen ameen ameen

poem: A small picture of faith

when we sit
with God

we take to him
many feelings

we may say
God I want money
God I want my child to be a doctor
God I want a big house

this light you present
to God
is a request

it cannot be a demand

his wish may be given
his wish may not be given
his wish

it is here
we bow down
in ameen

Poem: One small picture of faith

many of us
who live

on the gravity
of earth

find it difficult
to maintain

a perfect life
yet people

of faith know
in the gravity

of heaven
our true

reflection of love
for each other

will be the
one brotherhood

of mankind
and all that is created

Poem: My Birthday

Today is
my birthday

my daughter
made it special
by her words
that were very kind

but all the credit
is not due to me

there are many
events of life

seen and unseen

that create a journey
and we say
thank you
in our candles
to God
and his creation

and may God
bless every soul
everyday
ameen

Poem: Mr Money

where is
that Mr Money

Honey
if he hates me

I am in a
depression

He bombs
my social status

He bombs
my economic votes

to God I go
in sharp tears

Looking for help

Poem: Shy

the sun
was shy

sitting
all alone

in the room
of the
universe

a shy peaceful
candle of
life

I call him
I bless his heart

Poem: Thinking about faith

I am the
cloth of life

my tailor
rolls me out

into many
shapes

I am just
fashion everywhere

your eyes
your flowers
your sun
your trees
your birds
your water

let me sleep now
"O" yes sleep
as well

Poem: Circle

turning
like a circle

i became
the earth

i became
the wheel

i became
the sun

i became
a drop of
rain

i became
just life

Poem: He came

Hey!
Mr Laughter

come in
my soul

paint out
my smiles

be a hero
bubble out

my family
my friends

you are
the light

of all eyes

Poem: Light of eternity

faith is rich
it does not own
the material world

it describes
the treasures
of heaven

where the soul
swims in
the light of eternity

not in the
hours of
day or night

which are
shared out

as here today
gone tomorrow

Poem: A door frame

the door
was lonely

a door frame
he got married to

a happy balloon
he became
full of oxygen

opening and
closing

in the light
of life

loving people
by his eyes

Poem: Footprints

The book
was turning

man was
walking pages

Footprints
my boy

our children
catching
the unknown

giving our
environment

better coping
skills

Poem: We honor a dream

It was a film
not really

gone when
my eyes
opened

now I see
my son
a dream
of the night

a universal
language

nobody fights
about

at last
one humanity

Poem: Mop head

Tears cry
one by one

on the
mountain
of the soul

I just kicked
my toe mum

who put
that bucket

in the middle
of the kitchen

mop head
use your eyes first

no electricity
no skates

Poem: Slot machine

I told you Dad
I am just
a coin

in the slot
machine

The music
is played

the earth
is in a dance

the coins
are collected

by the boss
of the
universe
