Poem:Taxi Driver killed in South Africa

We are very sorry
Mido Macia age 27

Forgive us
From the bottom

Of our souls
World around

We are all upset
We all have cried

What a simple
Candle of life you were

What have our eyes seen

It is very painful
It is very hurting

Every prophet
Every angel

Has cried yet again

Born by God
Owned by God

Torn by man
What was not ours

Our eyes of honor have fallen
Our eyes of respect have fallen

May your soul rest
In eternal peace

this is an interesting form that you are

using and it is almost childlike in

its simplicity,

but the message inherent in

reading all

three poems is of a good intelligence

and

someone who has taken time

and trouble

to refine the work so that it

reads so easily,

yet leaves the reader thinking
