Today's poem: My name is Mr Button

Hi! there
My name is Mr Button

Every shirt is my friend
Every dress is my smile

You can say
I am something like

The teeth in the mouth
Without me

Your hairy chest
Of the cave man

Would be in the spotlight
The newspapers would faint

Comedians would eat us up
In sheer laughter

Mum is the word
I am always with you

thus far -

this is an interesting form that you are

using and it is almost childlike in

its simplicity,

but the message inherent in

reading all

three poems is of a good intelligence

and

someone who has taken time

and trouble

to refine the work so that it

reads so easily,

yet leaves the reader thinking

about what

you have written.
