Poem: My name is Mr Car

Hi there
My name is Mr Car

The four legged friend
The king of roads

You make me laugh
When you say

The God of roads

That means
You are running my legs

Too fast
Without due care and attention

Remember God looks
After his creation

By patience
And slow speed

Ouch!
Not with burning blisters

thus far -

this is an interesting form that you are

using and it is almost childlike in

its simplicity,

but the message inherent in

reading all

three poems is of a good intelligence

and

someone who has taken time

and trouble

to refine the work so that it

reads so easily,

yet leaves the reader thinking
